Fun With Composers - A Simple, Fun Approach to Classical Music!

About the Author

Deborah Ziolkoski is an elementary music specialist with the Surrey School District in British Columbia. She has a Bachelor of Education with a music major, and her Masters Orff level from the University of Memphis where she studied with Jos Wuytack. For the past two years, Deborah has designed the teacher-guided activities for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s elementary school concerts. In 2005, her Orff clubs performed the “Persian March” and “Aquarium” (as written in Fun with Composers) with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Deborah has over fifteen years experience as a music specialist. Her Orff groups have been asked to perform at many events including the National Orff Conference. Deborah lives in White Rock, British Columbia with her husband, Ed, and their three children, Annika, Lauren, and Charlize.
